Tudor Style Home

This Tudor-style family home had been the foundation of a busy, active household for many years. With the children off to college, it was time for a thoughtful transformation. Sue Subbotin Interiors worked closely with the architects and contractor to reimagine the interior floor plan, creating a home that better suited the family’s next chapter.

The kitchen was expanded to accommodate a larger cooking and dining area, while the ceiling was opened to reveal exposed beams, adding height and a greater sense of spaciousness. A hidden flue was cleverly concealed with reclaimed-style brick tile and incorporated into a new bar area. The bedroom area was reconfigured to create a private home office with a new entrance just off the front door.

A small hall bath was enlarged and transformed into a versatile powder room and guest bath. The result is a warm, functional home designed for gathering, entertaining, and enjoying time together as a family.
